Ingredients
  

  • 2 plain or everything bagels
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oz smoked salmon thinly sliced
  • Capers to taste
  • Red onion thinly sliced

Instructions
 

  • Begin by toasting the bagels until golden brown.
  • While the bagels are toasting, mix the softened cream cheese with the lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Once the bagels are toasted, spread the cream cheese mixture generously on each half.
  • Layer the smoked salmon on top, followed by capers and slices of red onion, and assemble the halves together just before serving for maximum freshness.
